The Birdsong Tea Towel

A little gathering of birds, ferns and flowers.

Birdsong brings together some of the things I find myself drawing again and again — birds, unfurling ferns and small garden flowers.

The pattern was originally drawn by hand, and I’ve kept the pencil marks and little irregularities visible in the finished design. Against the warm ochre details, they give it the feeling of an illustrated sketchbook page translated onto cloth.

Made from Tokri Half Panama cotton, it has a beautifully textured weave that's lightweight, absorbent and durable enough for everyday use. Hang it in the kitchen, use it while cooking, line a basket of warm bread or scones, or bring it out when setting the table.
