Terms of Service — Lil & Dot

Overview
Welcome to Lil & Dot (“Lil & Dot”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We provide our website, content, and online store (the “Services”) to you subject to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds, and Shipping Policy.

1) Access & Accounts

You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your location) to purchase. If you create an account, keep your credentials secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account.

2) Our Products (made to order)

Most items are handmade to order with artwork designed by Lil & Dot and printed especially for you. Colours and textures may vary slightly from on-screen images due to device settings and the nature of materials. We may update details or discontinue items at any time.

3) Orders & Cancellations

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when payment is processed and we send an order confirmation.
Because items are made to order, there’s a 30-minute window after checkout to request edits or cancellation. After 30 minutes, production usually begins and cancellation may not be possible (or may incur a charge).
Your purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds.

4) Prices, Taxes & Billing

Prices may change without notice. Unless stated otherwise, shipping, taxes, customs and import fees are additional. You agree to provide accurate billing/shipping details and authorise us (and our payment processors) to charge your chosen payment method.

5) Shipping & Delivery

Each piece is made to order by our trusted UK production partners and shipped once complete. Estimated timelines are set out in our Shipping Policy and are estimates, not guarantees. You’ll receive tracking where available. International customers are responsible for customs/import charges.

6) Returns & Refunds

As items are custom-printed to order, returns aren’t accepted unless the item is faulty or damaged. If there’s an issue, email hello@lilanddotengland.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number, description and photos. If a return is required, we’ll provide instructions—please don’t send items back without contacting us. Full details: Returns & Refunds.
Note: UK consumer “cooling-off” rights don’t apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

7) Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, text, images, logos and other content are owned by Lil & Dot or our licensors and protected by law. Use is limited to personal, non-commercial purposes. No licence is granted to copy, reproduce, adapt or create derivative works without written permission.

8) Feedback & User Content

If you share reviews, photos or feedback (“Feedback”), you grant Lil & Dot a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and share that Feedback for operating and promoting the Services (e.g., site, social, email). You confirm you have the rights to share it and that it doesn’t infringe others’ rights.

9) Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services (e.g., upload unlawful content, breach security, scrape, spam, or infringe IP). We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms are breached.

10) Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers (e.g., Shopify hosting, payment processors, email tools). Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We’re not responsible for third-party sites or services you access via links on our site.

11) Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability

The Services and products are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties. Lil & Dot shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit, data or goodwill). Nothing limits liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

12) Changes

We may update the Services or these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll provide notice as required by law. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
