The Gathered Stems Cushion is printed with an original botanical illustration and made to order in the UK on a cotton linen blend, a naturally textured fabric that gives the deep inky print warmth and character.

Flowing stems move across a midnight blue ground in soft, unhurried lines. The design began in the garden, where dried stems and flowers were gathered and arranged by hand into a loose composition, allowed to fall naturally into place. The arrangement was then captured and translated directly into the print, so every stem and seedhead you see on the fabric was once a real plant.

The deep tones work beautifully in calm interiors, pairing well with neutral palettes, natural textures and layered textiles. The feather-filled insert gives the cushion a generous, relaxed shape that holds its form without feeling stiff.

Place it on a sofa, armchair or bed, or layer it with other cushions to build depth and softness in a room.
