SANCTUARY

Sanctuary is the candle of reset.

It belongs to the moment after everything has been put back into place. When surfaces are clear, the air feels lighter, and the room returns to itself. The particular calm of a space that has been tended to.

Sea salt, driftwood and bergamot create a mineral, fresh base, coastal and grounded at once. The scent is quiet and spacious. It doesn't demand attention. It simply creates ease.

On the reverse: "I make space for stillness."

This is a candle for breathing out. For clearing the noise. For making space, both physically and mentally.

Scent notes: Sea salt · Driftwood · Bergamot

Burn time: Approximately 50 hours with proper care.

Made with: Natural soy wax · Raw nude ceramic vessel handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, made to be kept · Hand-poured in small batches in Surrey

Candle care: Before each burn, check the wick is upright and free of charred fragments, snapping or trimming any away so it's no longer than 5mm. On the first burn, let the wax melt fully to the edges, usually 2 to 3 hours, to prevent tunnelling. Keep it out of draughts, never leave it burning unattended, and burn on a heat-safe surface.

Frequently asked questions

What are the candles made from?

Each candle is made with natural soy wax, a wooden wick, and a considered blend of essential oils or fragrance oils.

What is the vessel made from?

A raw nude ceramic vessel, handmade in Stoke-on-Trent and designed to stay beautiful long after the candle has burned down. Keep it as a bud vase, a small storage pot, or simply as it is.

How long does each candle burn?

Approximately 50 hours with proper care. Before each burn, snap off any charred wood and keep the wick to around 5mm, and on the first burn let the wax melt fully to the edges (2 to 3 hours) to prevent tunnelling.

Where are they made?

Designed by Heather Wood in Kent, hand-poured in small batches in Surrey, with vessels handmade in Stoke-on-Trent. Entirely British, entirely small batch.

Can I return a candle?

If it isn't right for you, return it unused within 30 days for a full refund.
